LACE 1
In this class, you'll learn two very simple and popular lace patterns: horseshoe lace and feather-and-fan lace. You will also learn how to read knitting pattern charts.
Prerequisites: K102 or equivalent skills
Instructor: Lindsey
Materials needed:
- Pattern: Included with class
- Needles: Size US8 needles, straight OR circular; if using circulars, please make sure you have a set that's at least 24" long.
- Yarn: Either DK or worsted-weight; please do not use cotton yarn for this class! If you want to practice the lace patterns in the same swatch, you'll only need one skein/ball; if you would like to keep them separate, you should plan on using 2 separate skeins/balls of yarn. If you'd like to eventually make a scarf, it will use approximately 350 yards of yarn.
- Other notions: You may find it helpful to bring a few stitch markers.
One session: Tuesday, September 28, 6 - 8 PM
